"If you’re looking for the Ritz this isn’t your place. But if you’re looking for a great northern Michigan experience this is it! The cabin we were in was very clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot! The cabin has a kitchenette and the best part was the coffee percolator, I almost forgot how good coffee from a percolator tastes! They do Friday night parties with ice cream on the beach and fires..."

"If you want a relaxing family vacation, birch shores is the place to go! Jay & Mithril go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and taken care of. Cabins are clean, provide basic cookware, percolator for coffee, towels, and linens. There are three little play areas for kids and a great beach with tons of toys available. Fair warning , when you go there you will be tuning out the rest of the world. We had no cell service and no internet except up by the office.
